Exploring Utensils
Every explorer needs a backpack filled with necessities! Here I will be sharing with you all what I like to carry with me when out and about. As a new explorer I'm still learning what works best for me, and the equipment I have shown below is by no means necessary for anyone- it is just my personal preference. However, I hope some of you will find it useful when deciding what to pack!
Videography & Photography Gear

Cannon EOS 4000D
This cannon camera is my trust sidekick when out exploring, I've had it for several years now and I bring it absolutely everywhere! I have both lenses for it, however, I mostly use the 18-55mm; the 75-300mm lens is brilliant for those long distance shots. It is a highly commendable beginner camera. Make sure to always keep the lens caps on and carry it in a camera case to prevent any scratches or damage.

Rhøde Wireless GO II
This is a wireless microphone from the Rhøde wireless range. This mic is small, and incredibly lightweight meaning it is perfect for on the go shooting. One mic clips to the top of your camera and plugs in, and any others you can clip to yourself and other subjects- they all wirelessly link and sink themselves up to the video that the camera is taking. I absolutely love these mics as it means I'm free to explore without having to worry about wires and syncing my audio and video.

GoPro Hero 8 4K
This is the GoPro hero 8, the body cam of choice for me! with its 4k camera and lightweight, hardy stature it has become one of my favourite exploring tools. A GoPro of any sorts is definitely a necessity for me and I will always carry one with me- they are perfect for more hardy and limited time/space explorations when you can't always bring your camera along. They are also great for first person perspective filming, which they can do from many angles.

DJI Mini 3 PRO
The DJI Mini 3 is by far my favourite piece of equipment, it's such a fun addition and takes some brilliant shots! The drone weighs less than 250grams itself, and has a lightweight OLED controller- and comes with three batteries for long filming sessions. You do need a license to fly this from the Civil Aviation Authority, but you can get this from their website by doing a drivers theory test like assessment; it took me 15 minutes to complete and is 100% free unless you are applying for an operator ID as well.

Iphone 13
This is my trusty phone, and technically speaking this the only piece of equipment you need. If you don't have access to cameras or fancy equipment this will do just fine! I use mine for a lot of filming work and sometimes even video editing as there is a range of free apps you can download to do this. Out of all the equipment I use this is definitely the most portable and easy to use, but that might just be be because I carry my phone absolutely everywhere.
